Quest for the Supreme Greek Burger place

Since moving to Salt Lake I've noticed that there are a lot of Greek restaurants. Maybe this is becoming standard procedure in a lot of cities, but it was surprise to me. (My brother says that there are a lot of Greek restaurants in Denver, but I don't remember there being a lot of them.)

One type of restaurant that seems peculiarly popular is the Greek burger restaurant. I first saw this pattern with Crown Burger and Burger Supreme in Provo. (I always wondered if there was a connection between these two restaurants, since their menus are so similar, and I didn't realize until recently that there are tons of restaurants that follow this same pattern.)

So, now that I've moved to Salt Lake where these restaurants are so common, I feel that I must answer a certain calling, for which I'm sure I am destined: To identify the Best of these Greek burger restaurants!

To do this, I've decided that I must sample each of the Greek burger restaurants that I can find, and compare them. I want to do this as scientifically as possible (considering that it's completely subjective), so I'll be ordering the same items at each restaurant and rating them on a numeric scale. I'll use a 1-10 scale for the ratings, but since the ratings only make sense when placed relative to each other, I'll choose one restaurant as a basis for comparison: Crown Burger. (I would have chose Burger Supreme, because it's what I'm most familiar with and because it's universally awesome, but since I live in SLC now, I just won't be able to eat there often enough to make it the basis. Crown Burger makes the most sense of the others because it is the most popular and has the most locations.)

There will be four categories for comparison, based on the items unique to the Greek burger places: The pastrami burger, the gyro, french fries, and fry sauce. (I choose the pastrami burger instead of a regular burger because this seems to be the one that Greek places specialize in.)

And, this post is already beyond Ronnie-readable length, so I'll start the reviews with the next post. I hope that I can make the world a better place with this quest.

Actually, if you mention food in your post, there is nothing too long for me to read.

I can help you judge the gyros, for I have tasted the best gyros on the earth in it's current state. So when you have found the most delicious gyro, let me know and I will gladly offer my expertise.

Ok, I'll be happy to have your input, but I'd also like to know where you found this earth's best gyro. (I would imagine it to be somewhere in the actual country of Greece, but I could be wrong.)
