This is the way my computer science class goes:
  1. Teacher asks how the homework is going.
  2. Students complain, but receive no input.
  3. Lecture notes are displayed and read out loud.
  4. A student will comment on some discrepancy and ask what it means.
  5. The teacher will say that she doesn't know, and ask the rest of the class if they have any ideas.
  6. The students bounce around ideas, which may or may not be correct, by luck alone.
  7. The teacher moves on.
  8. Repeat steps 3-7 until the end of the lecture slides.
  9. Class gets out 30-60 minutes early.

Well, hopefully you'll get an A out of all that nonsense. I hate classes when I feel like I know more than the teacher does, or even if I don't know more, they seem like they have no idea what they're talking about.

I just hate it when professors read the slides... What's the point of going to class if they don't even expound on the material and actually TEACH. -SAM
