You know what I'm going to say the next time someone asks me why missionaries need to wear white shirts and ties, or why BYU students can't have beards or mohawks? I'll tell you.
It's because in American culture (and the other cultures that accept its influence) Christianity has become aligned with the conservative right-wing. So, the LDS Church, whether consciously or not, has decided to fit the image of conservative, right-wing people so that it can be taken seriously as a Christian organization.
That's why.

yes. and don't forget that businessmen have traditionally worn white shirts and ties.
True. I guess that's where the conservative right-wing gets their dress code.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Bryant, I hate to tell you ----------- buttttttttt you are not a Christian. Christians allow other fellow Christian to join them in their worship ceremonies. The last time I checked the LDS does not allow me to worship with them in their temples on Sunday. Would you in the future please call yourself something other than "Christian." We have dibs on that word. Feel free to choose any other word for your twisted beliefs. Allow me to suggest one for you "Mocults." Or you may choose one that you like. Carry on Bryant.
