Eyeglasses
The irony in looking for your glasses when you've misplaced them is that the very need to look for them disqualifies you from the task.
I dislike the fact that when you wear your glasses all day and then take them off, your vision is worse than it would have been if you had not worn your glasses at all.

That may be a little confusing.
that happened to me yesterday. I thought for sure I was going to accidentally step on them before I found them.
