Pants of the Future
I think I've figured out why everyone in Star Trek and other sci-fi shows wear clothes that look like pajamas. I think it's because our species is so impressed by David Bowie that the future just has to emulate his clothing from the Labyrinth.
Eeh. Does that mean with each passing decade, our pants are going to get tighter and tighter? Because his sure got tighter with each passing scene. Remember the "you remind me of the babe" scene? Vomit. In. My. Mouth. Twice.

And with the pants getting tighter and tighter, does that mean our hair will get bigger and bigger, and we will wear more and more make-up?
Because I'm SO not signing up for that!
Based on Nurse Chapel's hair and Counsellor Troi's make-up, I'd say yes.
